So, recently I stumbled upon this very well setup 2019 Triumph Speed Twin, and thought it would make a great project bike. It’s already very well equipped, so we won’t be doing much to it. Probably going to go with a different seat, change the mirrors, do some additional tuning, and address the brakes, which aren’t the best IMHO.
These are awesome bikes, with a very torquey motor, that has a lot of character, and a great soundtrack. I also think they’re one of the nicest looking modern retro’s on the market. And don’t let the vintage looks fool you… sure this bike is great for leisurely backroad cruising, but it’s also got near sport bike level handling if you want to push the pace a little.
