Click the video above for a comparison guide and review of a couple footpegs we recommend for the Yamaha Tenere 700.
Footpegs are an often over-looked upgrade, and many adventure style bikes come from the factory with footpegs designed for street riding as opposed to off-road riding. In the video above we review the DRC Ultra Wide footpegs, Zeta Aluminum footpegs, and AltRider Adventure II footpegs for use on the Yamaha Tenere 700, and compare them to the stock footpegs that come on the bike.
The stock T7 footpegs are fine for street riding, but probably not ideal for off-road use. The rubber inserts are designed to reduce vibration, but at the same time, they limit traction, especially in wet and muddy conditions. Aftermarket footpegs like the ones from DRC and Zeta will be larger in size, making them much more comfortable/supportive when standing, and they also have multiple rows of teeth/cleats that help with traction. The DRC and Zeta footpegs are both 57mm width x 85mm in size.

Another option if you want an even larger footpeg for your Tenere 700, are the new AltRider Adventure II footpegs. These footpegs have a 58mm wide x 122mm platform, and are made from lightweight CNC Aluminum. If price is not a factor, these might be the nicest footpegs on the market for the T7!
