The WR250X comes from the factory with basically a set of dirt bike footpegs. They provide a descent amount of grip, but have a pretty narrow platform for your boots to rest on, and since the pegs have no sliders, they could potentially dig into the pavement if you get the bike real low in turns. Back in September I installed a set of DRC Motard footpegs, which solve both of these problem areas. After a few months of use, I really like these things! The wider platform feels much better than the narrow stock pegs, and since the footpegs stick out less than the stock ones, there is much less likelihood you will drag them on the pavement. If you do, the plastic slider will hopefully keep the pegs from digging in and damaging the pavement, or worse, causing a crash. Additionally, the black powdercoat looks sweet on the blacked out WRX. Two thumbs up!
