Our popular Zeta Armor Hand Guard package can be ordered with the optional turn signals/flashers integrated into the plastic Zeta XC protector (also referred to as Zeta XC Flasher Protectors). This is a good way to clean up the front end of your bike and get rid of those large OEM front turn signals. We have these installed on three of our project bikes, and really like the setup. Not only is it functional, but it looks great.

When ordered with the optional turn signals/flashers, the LED lights come pre-installed in the plastic Zeta XC Protectors that bolt to the front of the aluminim Zeta Armor Handguard. It comes with all wiring necessary to get the LED’s working as turn signals.

Please make note of the following…

Turn Signal Flash Rate
If you install aftermarket LED turn signals/flashers, like the Zeta XC Flasher Protectors, they will flash at a faster rate than the stock turn signals on your bike do. This is because OEM flashers are designed for standard bulbs which draw a few watts each, much more than typical aftermarket bulbs or LED signals. If you want your new LED’s to flash at the slower rate of the factory turn signals, you will need to install our 12oclockLabs Fixed Rate Turn Signal Flasher.

Front Running Lights
Some bikes come from the factory with front turn signals/flashers that also operate as running lights when the bike is turned on and/or running. On dual sport bikes like the WR250R/X and Honda CRF250L, the front turn signals/flashers also operate as running lights (see photos above), whereas on the Suzuki DRZ400 they do not (see photo above). If your bike came from the factory with front running lights, and you want your Zeta XC Flasher Protectors to also work as running lights, you will need to install one of our 12oclockLabs Running Light Adapters. This can be wired in at the same time you are wiring the Zeta XC Flasher Protectors.
